What to expect when you come:
A warm WELCOME!
We will ask you what you need and we will do our very best to help you.
You can meet people who have been on similar journeys.
We have food, drinks and friendly faces.
We have people you can speak to about immigration, healthcare, and other issues.
We ask you:
Please understand that we do our very best, but we know some things are difficult and can’t be changed.
Please be kind to people. Everybody is a volunteer – we do this only because we want to support you and welcome you.
Join our experienced TEFL teachers on Thursdays at The Way on seaside road. They will be able to help you learn how to buy food, use transport, describe common ailments and where to buy medicines. They also focus on cultural awareness through language. All you need to do is show up to get started.
